Supper

With the left over chicken in my refrigerator and veggie booty from the market, chicken pot pie seemed like a great idea on Sunday night.

Isn't that a Sunday supper kind of meal, anyway?

Me trying to make pastry is kind of a riot.  It's a disaster slowly (or quickly) waiting to happen.  Flour was everywhere.

The fact that I don't own a rolling pin probably didn't help matters.  Starbucks To-Go cup, it is!

Simple, hearty, and comforting.  And the most rewarding part?  I made it with my own two hands.
