It came and went.

Oh wow, it's local news, but Monday always comes too quickly.   Especially after the best weekends.

And this weekend was so lovely and low-key.

On Saturday I went to Target.  I asked them to take all of my money.  They gladly obliged.

I was feeling broke and sleepy (The heat will do that to you!) so I came home and drank mocktails (staying strong!) and relaxed on the sofa.

I proceeded to do girly things like read mags, paint my nails, and tan (fake, that is).


I also cut the crap out of my finger while using the mandolin.  Random, but I'm still pissed about it.

I'm a joiner (I guess), so I started reading 50 Shades of Grey.  Whoa!!!  I didn't know that I could blush.  And pretty, pretty, please... no one throw darts at me for saying this, but...  it seems kind of cheesy and dirty all at the same time?  I get now why they're calling it mommy porn.  Mind you, I see why it's so easy to keep reading; admittedly, I'm on page 200 something.

The hubs and I went to the Tietze Park pool and swam and relaxed.  He got tan.  I got red.  Normal.

And lastly, I worked on my origami project.  It's finished and ready and I can't wait to show you the final results.
