Mother's Day

This weekend is mother's day.  I've always been very close to my mom.   I know she's had a tough year, as her last baby kind of left the nest, so I wanted to send her something more than just flowers for the day.

She loves the color blue and like any lady, loves a nice hand bag, so I mailed her this bag.  I'm horrible at keeping surprises, so I avoided calling her until she received the gift.  I knew if I called, I'd spill the beans.  It was worth it when she told me she had to check the label to make sure the gift was actually for her!

Mother's day is also significant for Victor and me.  It was on a Mother's Day when he first expressed interest in me/told me he thought I was awesome.  Pretty much after that day, we've been inseparable.  I wish I could explain how crazy it was to you all.  He's not one of those over the top, in love with every girl kind of guy.  He's reserved, chooses his words wisely, and sometimes appears to others as quiet (He's not.  AT ALL.)  So anyway, I'm so thankful.
